JOEL AVILES

Joel Aviles is the company owner/principal of Joel Aviles Architects. In 2001 Joel received his Bachelors of Architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University located in Marietta, GA. In 2002 he received his Masters of Science in Advanced Architecture Design from Columbia University, School of Architecture Planning and Preservation located in New York, NY.  During his college career he won the first place award for the Augusta Regional Library for the Three School Legacy Project Charrette Sponsored by AIA Georgia and Southern Polytechnic State University School of Architecture in 1999. He then in 2000 competed in the U.S. Embassy Student Design Competition in partnership with the White House Millennium Council and administered by the Association of Collegiate School of Architecture winning a merit. 

Joel has worked along side some amazing designers such as Bernard Tschumi. He has used his experience in becoming a licensed architect and beginning his own company in 2004, which was formally known as Topo International and now known as Joel Aviles Architects. Joel has experience in residential and commercial design.
